Every kid in the world has, at some point, told

their mom that they hate something. "Mom, I HATE my brother. Mom, I

HATE math. Mom, I HATE Brussels sprouts..." And, every mom has, at

some point, told their kids that they shouldn't hate. In her best

"mom" voice, she said: "Johnny, you shouldn't HATE anything. Is

that what Jesus would do?" But Mom, did you know that's not true?

Did you know that Jesus does hate some things? In fact, according

to the last half of John 11, Jesus feels pretty strongly about

hating these things. On Sunday, I plan on opening up God's Word to

John 11:14-44. I'd encourage you to read ahead and prepare yourself

to learn about some things God hates.
