King Jesus didn't become the King. He was born as the King.

The King was born as:

1. The God Who Saves (1:18-25)

2. The Good Shepherd (2:1-12)

3. The Preeminent Son (2:13-15)

4. The One Who Brings Hope (2:16-18)

5. The Child Who Is Despised (2:19-23)
