At Waukee Community Church, we know what church is

NOT. We know that the church is not a building. We know that the

church is not merely an organization. And we know that the church

is not a voting block. But what IS the church? This Sunday, I was

excited to answer this question in terms of what the church IS, not

merely in terms of what the church is NOT. Last week, we saw that

Jesus is the definiteive head of the Church. This week, we dove

into various passages of Scripture and saw how Jesus and the

Apostles define "church." And this scriptural definition of

"church" includes a picture of how we, as the church, should then

live. I'm loving this new series: This Is Church.
