Wisdom, knowledge, insight, information, it is

something we all seek in various ways using various means, for

various purposes. We are creatures that like to be in the know, we

like to be able to gain the information we want, when we want it.

No matter how you word it we are always seeking wisdom, but what is

the point of what we are trying to gain? How are we going to use

it? We are surrounded by a myriad of sources for gaining wisdom,

everything from the Bible to TMZ. In this portion of James we will

look at the two types of wisdom that are out there and how it

should be used and lived out in our lives. I believe we will be

challenged by James words as he is very direct and to the point

here. I love this portion of scripture from James, because it cuts

to the heart of our fleshly desires, and challenges us to consume

information that helps us to gain in glorifying God and spreading

His love through Christ.While I know it may be interesting what all

the movie/rock/sport stars are doing, what are we really gaining by

knowing,?and what is our real motive for wanting to know? We will
