In 2016, we purchased the facility at 215 N Warrior Lane in Waukee. Because we believe the church is a people, not a place, we've nicknamed this building "The Avenue." We want to use this facility as an avenue to point each other to Jesus. A full service coffee bar is part of our facility, creating an atmosphere that is both familiar and casual. Initially we occupied just 25% of the building. At that time, our office and children’s ministry were located in an adjacent building.
However, in 2020, we completed Phase 2 of our facility initiative — expanding into 75% of the building (9,000 square feet) and bringing all of our ministries under one roof.
In the fall of 2023, we completed Phase 3. We have expanded our offices and children’s ministry space and we now occupy 100% of the building. The completion of Phase 3 will be an expanded parking lot which we hope to see completed near the end of 2024.
